As part of their attendance at the four-week Loyola Summer Institute in June, students in the Loyola Scholars: The Heider Academic and Leadership Achievement Program were treated to a variety of area field trips each Friday to complement their classroom learning at Prep.
On Friday, June 8, the students visited Creighton University, Gallup and Interstate Printing. The following Friday, they were at Le Bouillon restaurant in the Old Market, Air Methods at Millard Airport and First National Technology Solutions. On June 22, they visited Wenninghoff Farms, Dundee Bank and the Immanuel Fontenelle home and, on the 29th, the group traveled to Methodist Hospital and Lexus of Omaha.
