Dear Prep Students and Parents,
The DCHD's COVID risk assessment dial was updated yesterday and it remains at 3.5. Additionally, our rolling three-week average is 1.0. As a result, we will stay in Level 1 through at least November 16 provided there is no significant increase in cases within the Prep community.
We will continue to monitor circumstances closely and update the community each Tuesday about what the next two weeks of school will look like. Unless cases suddenly increase within our community, we expect to hold to these forecasted plans to ensure that any transition happens in a careful and well-orchestrated manner.
As you have seen in the news, COVID stats for the county and state are becoming increasingly problematic. Please be diligent in your efforts to follow the advice of our state leaders and public health officials – avoid crowds, confined spaces, and close contact and wear a mask whenever that is not possible. Additionally, please be diligent about completing the COVID symptom checker each morning before coming to school.
Thanks for your continued support and cooperation as we work together to confront this challenge.
AMDG,
Jim Bopp
