Talents on Display: Raising Money for the Ignatian Spirituality Project
Posted 04/24/2017 10:58AM

A big thanks goes out to the Student Council and others who helped make Creighton Prep’s March 21 talent show a tremendous success. As part of Creighton Prep’s Mission Week, the Student Council held the talent show to raise funds for the Ignatian Spirituality Project, a program that provides Ignatian retreats for the homeless and those seeking recovery from addictions in Omaha and several other cities across the United States. The effort brought in $232 for the program.

The 90-minute talent show was primarily student performers and featured mostly musical acts but also included a faculty magician, a juggler, some slam poetry and a short film. Contributions to the show came from Myles Bachus, Sam Bench, Seth Bench, Noah Floersch, Dr. Bob Gehringer, Tim Glazeski, Nathaniel Kielian, Paul Matthews, Jack McLaughlin, PJ Mooney, Daniel Noon, Matt Nownes, Jonathan Quiros, Dermot Swanson, Nick Swerczek and Phillip Tilden.
