campus ministry advisory board

The Prep Campus Ministry Department is unique because of student involvement.  The Campus Ministry Advisory Board (CMAB) is a group of 45 students and 4 adult moderators that meet on Monday nights and during the community period to help plan and promote Campus Ministry activities.  Students are at the center of Prep's campus ministry program and play an active role in planning liturgies, retreats, faith sharing activities, and service activities for the Prep student body.  CMAB consists of the following committees that help support the work of Prep's Campus Ministry Department:

The Liturgy Committee is responsible for planning the weekly student liturgies.

The Retreats Committee is responsible for recruiting and training leaders for the sophomore retreat.  This committee also is responsible for planning the annual silent retreat in addition to helping with the Freshman Retreat and Junior Encounter.

The Service Committee is responsible for planning the food, clothing, and blood drives. This committee also organizes the weekly mission collections, the Fall Service Day, the Social Justice Prayer Service, and other service and justice related activities.

The CLC Committee is responsible for recruiting students and adults to be part of Christian Life Communities at Prep.

The Technology Committee creates the Freshman Retreat slide show in addition to other movies, websites, and slide shows that promote and support the work of Campus Ministry.
