President's Welcome

Welcome to Creighton Prep! It is my great privilege to serve as Prep’s President for the 2012/2013 school year. As a Prep grad – class of ’66 – and as a long time board member, I am very proud of the Prep tradition. This is an outstanding school, with a powerful mission today. We make a difference in young men’s lives, so they can make a difference in our world.

I hope this website will help you meet this extraordinary Creighton Prep community. The leadership team, and our faculty and staff, are professional, experienced, and committed to the mission. They are on fire with a vision of education that brings the Jesuit tradition to the challenges of our world today. Through a personal care for each student, Creighton Prep promises to prepare young men for college, on every level of their development. In the end, every Prep grad is also prepared for life: in his relationships with our God, with others, and with the world.

If you are considering a Prep education, this site will help you get to know us, and get a feel for this community of learning and formation. Keep returning here, as we tell our story and share more about the life and activities of the Prep community throughout the year – learning, celebrating, serving together. Just ask a Prep graduate or two about their love for Prep and you will begin to sense of why the Prep experience is so special. You will taste why loyalty to Prep, among her parents and alumni is so strong and deep.
