Paul Serrato
Music by Paul (Ben) Serrato, "54, has been on the soundtracks of diverse film and tv soundtracks this year.
The summer of 2004 has seen some of Paul's vintage 1960's theatre music on the soundtrack of "Superstar in a Housedress", an independent film about Andy Warhol personality, Jackie Curtis, which is screening nationally.
CD jazz tracks from his independent label, Graffiti Productions, have enhanced tv programming as diverse as " Sex in the City", "A and E Biography", and the "Food Channel" in Puerto Rico.
Paul, whose instrument is the piano, played in Father Kennedy's Prep dance band. He received his Bachelor's Degree in Jazz Composition from Empire State College in New York. His work as both jazz composer and music producer has been donated to the Creighton Prep library for the listening enjoyment of the students.
