Grading Policy

 

1. All exams are worth 100 points.

2. All written essays are worth 100 points.

3. The final grade at any given quarter or semester is cumulative (e.g. 420 points out of a possible 500 points equals a grade of 84).

4. Late papers are downgraded.

5. Effort grades are determined by how well one does on tests and homework as well as by how one participates in class.
