--- Trustee Scholarships- Full tuition for 4 years is awarded to 20 students.  Selected by competition from among the Academic Scholars.

--- Presidential Scholarships- $46,000 ($11500 per year) awarded to 20 students annually.  Students will be selected by competition from among the Academic Scholars.    

--- Leadership Scholarships- Students who have demonstrated leadership and strong academic records will be offered approximately $10500 per year for 4 years.  Special consideration will be given to students from disadvantaged backgrounds.  20 Leadership Scholars are selected annually.

            award to one student from each Jesuit high school.  Each school may nominate a

            candidate who exemplifies the Jesuit ideal of living “as men for others”.

          ---St. Francis Xavier Leadership Scholarship-$14,500 awarded to a student

            attending SLU from each Jesuit high school.  Recipient must demonstrate

            leadership and have a minimum grade average of 3.7, SAT/1240, ACT/28.

            Award is conditionally renewable.

            ---St. Francis Xavier Service Scholarship-$14,500 award to each Jesuit high

            school’s JSEA award recipient upon admittance to SLU and demonstration

            of commitment to service.  Award renewable with minimum grade average

          of 3.2 together with participation in annual retreat and performance of 40

          hours of community service each semester.

 

ST. PETER’S COLLEGE-JERSEY CITY, NEW JERSEY               (888)-SPC-9933

          ---$2,500 grant automatically awarded to graduates of Jesuit high schools upon

            admission.  Grant is renewable for 4 years if student remains in good standing.

            ---President’s Scholarship-One full tuition, room and board scholarship awarded

            to a graduate from a Jesuit high school admitted to St. Peters.  Application is

            due 3/1.

          ---Ignation Scholarship awards one freshman from Jesuit High School in Sacramento $7,500 annually,

            need-based and renewable with conditions.  $1,000 honorarium awarded to students who do not

            demonstrate financial need.

            ___Thomas J. Bannan Jesuit High School Endowment  gives up to 5 new awards each year.  Awards

            will not exceed amount of tuition, room and board.  Renewable with conditions.

            graduates from Jesuit high schools who are eligible for and receive another

            scholarship from Seattle University.

          ---The Sullivan Leadership Award is a 4-year full-tuition, room & board scholarship supporting students committed to service, leadership, academic excellence, community, spirituality and global awareness.  Students with a minimum 3.5+ GPA who are permanent residents of California (or 5 other Western states) may apply before 11/15/03.

          ---Benefactors Scholarship for strong students from a Jesuit high school.

 

UNIVERSITY OF SAN FRANCISCO-SAN FRANCISCO, CA                 (800)-CALL-USF

          ---No earmarked aid for graduates from Jesuit high schools, but University

            Scholars Program awards freshmen applicants with a grade average of at

            least 3.8, SAT/1320, ACT/30 potential scholarship paying $16,000 for up to 4 years provided

            student maintains a grade average of 3.25.  Freshmen must apply Early Action by Nov. 15, 2003.

            ---St. Francis Xavier Scholarship is a competitive, full tuition and room and

            board scholarship awarded to an incoming freshman graduating from a Jesuit

            high school.  Selection of the recipient of this highly competitive scholarship

            is based upon academic achievement and community service.
