Alumni Volunteer Corps

"What a great way to spend a year!"

Are you interested in using your talent and energies in a professional environment?

Are you interested in being part of the growth at Creighton Prep?

Whether you just miss the good old times at Prep or you're just looking for a professional challenge, the AVC has an option for you.

The Alumni Volunteer Corps is a nine month program for graduates of Creighton Prep. The program is tailored to those who are dedicated to service and communal activities. Participants, who live on campus in the Jesuit Resident, help fill the needs of the school while offering young alumni the chance to be "Men for Others."

During the program AVC members are linked to the school in a variety of ways. Those involved will have the opportunity to develop a schedule which fits their personal interests and also allows them to directly interact with the students on a daily basis. AVC members gain concrete experience while working in a familiar environment. On any given day, an AVC member may many opportunities inside the classroom, on the practice field or in the campus ministry office.
